Thechucks can be air cooled by adding a cooling device. This model is forgrinding, but a model for cutting is also available upon request.・ｻFeatures・ｽ笳・Workpieces having strong residual magnetism can be separated andfl oated by the pressure of a small amount of air for easy removal.笳週he optimum floating condition can be adjusted according to thematerial, size and shape of workpieces by increasing/decreasingthe air pressure supplied from the control unit.笳就s a small amount of air is constantly jetted through air holes duringgrinding, intrusion of grinding fluid and ground powder can beprevented.笳週he air circuit in the chuck has a construction specially developedby KANETEC to minimize clogging.笳週he control unit is an easy-to-operate special unit incorporating anair regulator, rectifi er and demagnetizer.・ｻApplication・ｽThis control unit is computer controlled to create the most effectivedemagnetizing patterns within a short period of time, thus providing theconsistent demagnetizing eff ect constantly. The operation is quite simple. Nocomplicated adjustment is necessary and an electric valve control circuit forfl oating is also incorporated. During grinding of workpieces, air at low pressure[about 20 kPa (0.2 kg/cm2)] is jetted through holes provided on the chuckwork face to prevent intrusion of waste fluid/oil and fine particles.
